  • 2 sur treks

Hello, I have been a member here for years and finally bought two sur treks. They came from PA originally (from Gus??) and were sold to a member here in Regina Canada. I located an old ebay link from 2016 and contacted the seller and asked if he still had the sur treks. He did and had placed them minutes earlier on kijiji. I made a deal and drove 6 hours to get them. He had them for 9 years and just stored them. I am mechanically handy and do almost everything (not well) but these look like I may of overstepped my bounds. I know nothing about these and have already bugged a few members for answers. Problem here is we don't have the vast amount of tractor supply or such places and parts are expensive. I have reached out to Richards relics and already bought some 5 bolt hubs. Tires r next. anyways enough blah blahblah here they are. one has a 30hp chapparal engine with it and the other a seized jlo. Gonna do the engine(s) and get one running. The second only needs a torque bar between the front and rear and of course a rebuild. Funy, two days after I found these, I found a complete one, sigh. Good news is one is the 7th one ever made!

There is also one for sale in Pa by member countrycummins, unless he sold it.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
