Any progress made on this ? I have one that runs, and several Penguins that run (they use the same Villiers 9E engine, 4 speed transmission with fan cooling and reversible electric start.

The snowmobile ignition switch mentioned in a previous post won't work. The Villiers engine in these uses a battery type ignition, not magneto ignition. A generic car type replacement switch will work with a toggle switch to energize the reversing solenoid.
