All original, never painted, hacked, etc. It had been sitting in the barn that it was just pulled out of for the past 20 something years. I thought they only made yellow ones, according to the sales brochure. This one has the 4 stroke, 12HP Tecumseh engine in it. Pics will be added here shortly.
Congrats JP!!! Sounds like a great find! They sure are huge aren't they. Like a super swamp. Does it need any help or do you think it will fire up easily?

Thanks, Larry. They are huge! It's almost a tad bigger than the Super Swamp Fox, I couldn't believe it. It didn't even fit on the trailer so we had to put one set of wheels up on the rails. A quick tune up and some fresh gas and I think it'll fire right up. The left had hydraulic lines might need some air bled out of it though. Did you do any work on the transmission in your Trailblazer?

No I didnt do anything with it. But I believe there is a bleeder on the transmission for the lines. I would think the easiest way is to let it gravity feed down and keep an eye on the little bottle. Or if that dont work syringe it up maybe, Im not really sure. When its running, you NEED to get a video of it counter rotating. I would love to see one of those transmissions actually working.

Thanks for the advice, Larry. I'll see what I can do. And I'll be sure to get video footage of it in action. I'm looking forward to the counter rotating fun too.

            Dear Matt,

Can you send me all the information or manuals from the Newt the Bold??

I'm very interesting in restoring this amphibious.

            I appreciate your help.

            Carlos

Hi Carlos. Unfortunately I don't have any of the manuals, but I'm excited to hear about another New the Bold out there. Can you post some pictures of your machine? I'd love to see and hear more about it.

Here's a link to the Newt the Bold brochures that Mike put on the site for everyone to see......
