  • Replace Belt On Scrambler

Since i am upgrading the engine in my 6x6 i have to lift the engine up to clear the clutches. Since the engine is lifted the belt will no longer fit. I know this is probally a stupid question but how to you replace the belt? I guess im asking if you have to remove the whole drive train or if something pulls apart that Im not seeing. Any Help would be great thanks.

    scrambler belt.

hi, i would get 2 belts,,, after u figure out the size,,, put both on,,,one for a spare,
1)loosen the 2 drive chains..that go from disc's to jack shaft, remove master links
    2) remove slave cylinder bolts from left hydralic cylinder, slide cylinder towards middle,, move towards front of machine, out of the way,
    3) remove the 4 bolts under the drive disc's 2 per side
    4)slide off belt... i
    that should do it.
when choosing belt and putting it on, make sure there is a 2" slack or a little less between belt inside to inside of belt u might be using a 1" wide belt or a 1 1/8" depending on your model.
