  • Terra Tiger Sterring Clutch

Hello all, I have searched the threads so to not re-ask a question but I was unable to find this one asked..so here it goes. I have a Terra Tiger and have sent the steering clutches in to have them relined. My problem is, the holes were wobbled out badly where the pins hold them to the shaft. 1st what size hole should be in the clutches and should I have the current large holes welded shut then re-drilled or welded shut and drill new holes in another area if the flange? Anyone taken care of this problem and if so what did you find was the best way to fix these. Lastly can the pins be purchased at an automotive store and what is the diameter and length

Thank You All, I think it is almost ready to go when I get these back in it, I am really looking forward to my first change to drive it

i just picked up a terra tiger tt18. the clutches all appear to be good in that area so tommarrow in the daylight i will see what info i can get you to help you out. i'm new to this style so it may take a moment for me to deconstruct this unit in my head. hopefully one of the more experienced advanced 6x6 ers here will be able to step in and give you solid info. but i can help as much as possible without dissasembling mine. if it aint broke. dont fix it right?

      Thank You,

Any help would be appreciated. I took the clutches to a welder yesterday and he is just waiting until I can tell him what size the holes need to be drilled and if i want him to completely fill the original ones and drill new ones on another side or if I want him to just fill them in partially and re-dril the originals. I am really looking forward for my 1st ride!!!!
