new guy has a scrambler question

I have heard it wasnt a good design, teeth stipped out easily when not carefull and expecially if you tried to turn in reverse.

Must be some truth as atvrider93 stated.

$200. I bet you could get a Polaris quad fnr gearbox or the ones some older sleds used for reverse. both of those should guarantee beefyness

Scrambler reverse

I made a reverse on my scrambler out of an electric starter from a boat motor with a ring gear. It was only for temporary use to back off the trailer or out of the garage but it worked great. Used a 12V battery and a push button on the dash to fire a solinoid to run the starter.
