Back in 2002 We had a large ride in Deep Water MO. I think there was about 20 machines there. One of them was a Super Swamp Fox!!! That Swamp Fox was amazing!!! The guy who was riding it had a blast and went all over. This is the same ride I meet Roger at. Back then he had his famus rear exhaust running down the outside if the machine. Does this bring back memories Roger? Ever since that ride I have wanted and been looking for a Swamp Fox.
I was surprised how wide the machine was- almost a foot wider than an Attex. I don't think it's as long as a Max IV or a Hustler, but it should be real stable on slopes or in the water. I'll post some specs when I measure the thing up. I haven't been able to find a lot of info on the Onan engine, but from what I've gathered so far I think it's a 25 horse. The split-shift mounts to the top holes of the T20 and should be fairly easy to reproduce for other machines.
I don't know what to do with it yet: restore it or sell it or make a lawn ornament out of it!
Nero; I may hit you up with questions if I keep the beast- hope it's okay.
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.
(6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

Reason: no need for two separate posts
The Super Swamp Fox that you bought really is wide! I just checked the HydroTraxx website for a tub comparison, and the HydroTraxx tube measured at 60 inches wide.
Hey Don,new to forum,I just bought a swampfox tr 160 or tc160,not sure,it runs and goes forward or reverse, but no steering, has what appears to be four small master cylinders which attach to four drums on a shaft, any information. On how this system works or service manuals would really help,I am not against changing to a better setup if you know of one, thanks in advance, bob
