Help with throttle cable

I am in need of some help, hopefully from some of the McKee Rough Rider owners out there.
The throttle cable on my Rough Rider was too short so I am in the process of finding at least a 5 ft replacement. I have a motor cycle style hand throttle and the carb is a Mikuni barrell slide style. I also would be willing to change carbs. Any suggestons?
I have went to numerous local atv shops, motorcycle shops, go cart shops and etc, but cannot find a cable long enough (5 ft ) with the correct ends.
The carb end has a nipple style end to fit through the top of the carb cap and the hand grip side has a barrel end. I am even willing to change to a thumb style throttle, but still cannot find one long enough.

hi, here in the uk you can buy the cable off rolls at any length required and any fitting can be purchased to either solder on or in some cases fasten on with a set screw. vintage motorcycle shops will be able to sort your cable.

Fast fix? kmart......Bell replacement 10 speed bike cables 11.98 ? 6 in a package, even a 8' one with ends oil them up good!!last a few yrs
