Terra Jet

Hey Fella's, i just bought a Terra Jet today, it is in very good condition and all original except for the new tires, someone spent some good money on Carslisle 4ply tires for it. It has a Kohler 400cc 2 Stroke which i am swapping for a 4stroke, i would love to put a 23hp Vanguard in it but there is simply not enough room, but the is enough room for a 10hp Diesel!!!!

Thats awesome, but my body style is different and smaller, i really dont see a way to put a V-Twin in it, its just going to be a toy, nothing serious

Honda Powered Terra Jet

20HP HONDA or I mean Princess auto powerfist engine if you need any info

I stumbled across this thread. I just mounted the same engine on the weekend. Thank God I know a good welder. It fits in there very nicely. All I need to do is hook up the throttle, relocate the ignition, and run a fuel line. Oh, I need to install the new tie rod ends that I bought at Princess Auto.......... It'll never end

Hey i just got a terra jet. Is a 20 hp enuff? Mine has a k399 two stroke in it and it makes 28-32 hp. Wouldnt a 20 make it a bit sluggish?

we have a 16hp vanguard in ours and it doesnt suffer from the lack of power, only from the lack of suspension LOL
