  • Bobcat gets new engine

Hey everybody I just pulled the original 340 kohler out of my 71 prairie bobcat
    that I've owned for about 20 years. I have a 18hp tecumseph with a
salsbury clutch from my argo. This bobcat dosn't use a transmission it's
just like a ski doo drive. Will this engine work, new clutch? new final drive
    sprocket?

Don't you have a forward/reverse tranny in it?

      no tranny

Yea no tranny at all! This buggie is super fast with the old 2-stroke
but i had to change the Fatcat tires and I'm a little more cautious
about catching an edge on the new tires.
