    Hello Weenie,
I believe the machine you have is a United 6 Earth Cruiser. They were made in Australia back in the 70's. They had a 2 stroke engine and a T20 transmission. I recently sold a Max II to a man in Toowoomba in Queensland who has an original brochure an literature that he sent away for in the 70's. He also said that they were around the $2500 mark back then! That was the price of a car. I'll try an get a copy of the brochure and post it up.

The edge products sell plans for build your own buggies, and there 6x6 amphibious version has a plywood body.
The guy who told me about the earth cruiser has all the original sales info and pictures. If I can get copies I'll scan them and post them up. I'm definitely interested in checking them out also.

I had a good look at the Edge Products pics and first thought, yea maybe, however mine is quite different. One would have been real keen to make a mould for just one of these! Thanks, I'm sure we'll work it out in the end!!
