  • 70s srambler master cylinders

looks like I am going to have to rebuild my right side master cyl. ,problem is it looks like I am going to have to be made out of rubber and be able to stand on my head just to get it off.Any advice on plan of attack would be appreciated.

    rubber man

If you take the top off it would help and then you could take that cross member off that everything is attached to. But that is also a hassel. Or maybe tip the machine on its side.

Standing on head may be easiest.

      scrambler mastercyl.

I don't want to but I had thought about taking top loose and blocking it up enough to see if I could reach cyl. top vent fittings and what ever else I could get at.What is mounted to upper body that I need to watch out for if I do take it loose? I'm still undecided which way I'm goin to jump.I already have a headache from just looking at it.

The only thing I can think off is the wiring. Maybe the pull starter handle if your model had it on right rear by rear seat? Gas cap? I cant think of anything else off hand. Just get some pop rivets to put it back on or I guess you could use 1/4-20 bolts too, it would be easier if you have to take it off again.
