Cool ain't it? Has electric motors in each suspension arm. If you do a search with the info in the credits off the video there's more videos to be found. Full size mpegs to download, etc. I might have that page listed in the route 6x6 "Video thread"

        Roger,

I dont care if its electric or not,,that is one very impressive 6 wheeler to watch in action! I really like the way the torsion arms of each wheel react to every thing they roll over. It was also very impressive to watch it roll up and over that rock wall at speed,,with out hardly slowing down. This might be a good idea on an amphib, if it could be made light enough, to work on one. The unique thing about this kind of suspension, is that it does not have much to catch on underneath the tub. In the places where my friends and I ride amphibs at,, this makes a BIG difference, when your driving in swampy, muddy, log infested water

            jpswift1,

Yes,,it is huge, no doubt about it . How would you like to have suspension like that on an amphib, that would allow you to climb up a vertical wall, like the one in the video, at the speed it was going, and not feel the shock of impact. I really like the way the torsion arm suspension works. Not much hangs down to catch on stuff that you roll over underneath the tub. If only it were lighter, right?
