From what I can tell, the wood that was originally in the floor of the Terra Tigers was 1/4" thick. I have decided to replace it with 1/2 inch and will upgrade the floor reinforcements to a hybrid of BOTH options that the Terra engineers came up with. I will put the angle iron cross braces (pic 1) to bridge the bottom AND I will use a reinforcement like the aftermarket one (pic 2) to pull the fiberglass bottom up tight with the cross braces.
My question is this: I know there is still room for the axles, but will the extra 1/4" of floor height throw anything else off? I don't think the drive belt will be affected. The drive chain should be able to be adjusted. The only things I can think that will be affected are the brakes and maybe the arms that og into the tiller. These are minor issues right? Anything I am missing?
