I have found very little out there about the PUG 4x4 and may buy one soon.
How are they to operate? It seems that they would be very rugged and not prone to many mechanical problems as they are very simple in design.
On YouTube some guy put a set of Mattracks on his and it worked out fine in the white stuff.
I saw one in Alaska back in the early 1990s when I was up there working the Salmon season during college and a hulk of one near Ossineke Michigan near an old resort. From what I gather the design has been made by several companies over the years and must have some merit.
