There are a couple ways to do it. I have been told you can pump atf fluid in the slaves with a grease gun filled with atf. I havent tried that. Nor have I figured out how to get atf in the gun. But if you take the grease zerk looking things off and turn the wheel so it pumps fluid out. You can put your finger over it to seal it and turn wheel back. Then pump the wheel the other way again and llet it pump fluid out. When no air is left hold the wheel there when you re-install the zerk or have some one help. I have done the same thing with just the line going in but of course air gets in it when you re install the line. That was with a stick model but even with the little air in it, it still worked.

The grease gun bleeding system works very well. You need to use a small palm type grease gun. I will post some photos when I get a chance.
The big problem is with seal leakage on the slave cylinders. The piston seals are available but the piston bores have to be in good condition also.

I just did this with a full size greese gun. I had to silicone the seal and shaft on the greese gun plunger. I filled the gun with ATf and pumped it in thru the slave cylinder - worked great

I have never used the grease gun. How do you put the atf in it? I bought a new small style one, but have both. For the grease I normally just put the cartridge in. I remember when I was a kid on a farm, refilling my dads gun with a 5 gallon bucket of grease somehow but that was a long time ago and I dont remember how?

if you could post some pics that would be the best. I have tried three different grease guns. every time i would pull down the bar to put the atf into them it always leaked down the bar. not alot but enough to make me take them back. so if you could take a picture of how you sealed it. It would help more than one person on here I'm sure. I'm not sure if it was leaking around the seal or if is leaking at the center where the seal attaches to the bar????

when i filled mine i unscrewed the top off of it then pulled the plunger down poured in the atf but thats when it started to leak a little

              Cool!

Side note, if your having probems with the slaves not working right, it might be worth taking them off and looking at them. I had some once that the piston was wearing crooked in the bore and wore a groove. I just took a dremel to it and ground down the grove flush. When I mean groove I guess more like a ridge where the piston would stop. It would hang up there. As things wore or got adjusted the piston travel changed and need to go further then the wear ridge causing weird handling.

Thanks for all the advise guys, I did something a little different that worked. I used a syphin/primer ball and stuck one end in the resivior and attached the other end to the begining of the system and manually pumped the atf through the lines and out the bleeders. Still have a little air but steering seems to be working just fine.
