I will be posting pics of the entire build. From the replies, Sounds like we will have a few SSF machines
together. Has this been done before? From the Gallery pics I guess the only colors produced were
Brown & Brown. Exept the few I saw painted Red(Very nice), Tomo's Tan/Brown, The Green Swamp Fox.
& The Ever so popular Camo(HaHa.)

Posted some new photos in the Gallery under The Dismanteling begins!
My pit crew and I got about 4 Hrs of above 50 degrees this afternoon. So
we tore into the SSF. To my Surprise I have only snapped 3 bolts due to rust.
I will have to replace the Battery tray. My original Gas tank will be reused.(only surface rust inside)
For a machine that is 30+ years of age. I got me a keeper. Very Cool!
Tomorrow, We tackle the Bearings and Axles.

          Hey Matt,
I commented some question in the gallery but thought I would ask them here. You did a nice job on putting that diesel in there. Looks great. What motor is it?

I see you having clearance issues with the asx tires. Jpswift suggest try lowering the psi. I was also wondering if you staggered them with 1" wheels spacers if that would help. Im not sure if it would or not. You could put the spacers in the front/back and leave middle alone or just space the middle ones out. Just an idea. Glad to see the ssf coming along. Nice job on the progress so far!

Hey guys, Thanks for the support. But I think Noel Woods is the one w/ the Diesel conversion.
So far all I have done is disassemble my machine. I do have an update though: I have now
located All my parts for a complete machine. & I have a twin to it so I plan to bring Twins!
We will see how the 1st one goes though. I guess I have the Fever now.

On the plus side, Its good to have enough super swamp fox owners out there now to get confused I guess.

I agree. It is good to see the Swampfox numbers growing.

There are about as many of us as there are living Presidents. Just a handful.

                    UPDATE on SS Fox:
No progress has been made. We had a furnace fire the day before I was to pick up the T-20
from a fellow sixer. Luckily no Major damage was done to the house and All the family was away but me. Was able to put out
before it accelerated. So now I am Slowly replenishing my funds to Hopefully find another one (fingers crossed). Sorry for the delay.
Just have not had the Ambition lately. Will be checking in from time to time though.

Wow, sorry to hear about the bad luck. Just hang in there and things will turn around. Good luck getting things back to normal on the homefront, and I hope that you get motivated on the S.S.Fox soon.

Good to hear everyone was OK, and that it was nowhere near as bad as it could be. Hope you get back on track soon, we've all been there, some more that others, but somehow things seem to get straightened out

I finally got me The Ever Elusive T-20. Thanks again Shane. Now I have to dig out the SSFox.
Some how it got buried in the garage. I probably wont have it done this season. It has always been 3rd on the
to do list. But I will be sneaking all the time I can in on it.

                              Hey all!

Just dropped in to say Hi to everyone. Unfortunately i have not made any progress on
the SS Fox. I have put it in a secure Storage shed. Had several changes w/ my living situation. Had to move and now don't have my own garage to work on my projects. Actually don't have any projects left. Had to sell them. I'll continue to drop in from time to time to say Hi and keep up with fellow sixers. Later All!
