i have an old jiger which i believe is one of the first syles. it's minus a motor but everything else is there. it has dual sticks for the steering and a center stick for the throttle i think. the seriel number on it is 529. i'm thinking of making it an electric drive instead of the gas motor. does anyone have ideas about horse power rating i should consider? any idea about how i might find the oe style wheels that came on it? ild like to make it like a retro-mod, original looking on the outside but updated on the inside. any and all ideas will be welcomed. thank you

here is a thread on an electric attex project. http://www.6x6world.com/forums/gener...6-wheeler.html
haven't heard an update from member JRP3 in a while, but last we heard it was working well. for the original style tires, try posting in the wanted thread here on the site, watch ebay and craigslist. good luck with your buildA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Welcome to the site Richman. I'm (slowly) rebuilding/restoring my Jiger 152. If your tires use 1 center bolt and a dimpled collar to mount them to the axle (those are the original Jiger tires) you wont be able to find any. You can still get used balloon tires with 3 bolt hubs but you will have to adapt them to your axles. Please post some pictures of your machine if you can, we'd love to see them.
