I think it has lots of potential. You've come to the right website for all the help you could ever need. There are a good bit of KIDs out there that have popped up recently and the 6x6World members that own them certainly know a lot about them. I think you'll be able to resurrect this one. Its good to see another vintage AATV being restored. Also, is that trailer specifically made for the KID? It looks like it fits on there like a glove.

Very nice, once you get the body off it seems so much more simple. Since you said you know diesel well once you get the motor up and going the rest is not very complicated. good luck and im looking forward to more post!

not too sure about manufacture of trailer. does need a little repair, however i think it was made for a small bobcat. came with ramps too!

Very cool. Keep us updated with pictures of your progress if you get time. Are you going to paint it green again or go for another color?

The getting a non running kid off a trailer is something i have faced twice, the second being much easier! but contol cables are pretty hard (annoying) to get out of the gas models, so if body isnt coming off, they will be able to stay on and in that case i would reconmend putting alot of marvel mistery oil on them and flexing them as much as possible by hand, repeat for about 2 or 3 weeks and hope for the best.
