Scrambler?

Well i've caught the 6x6 disease which is always wanting another one. There is an auction nearby me tomorrow and according to the sale bill there is a "6 Wheel Scrambler," my question though is what are the downfalls of the Scrambler machines and what are they worth? I know they vary do to the shape they are in and whether they are a four seater or just a three seater but i'd like to have a good idea of what I should be looking to pay and willing to pay for this thing if I decide to buy it. If someone could give me a rough estimate of values for fair, good, and great condition it would be greatly appreciated.

I see them vary so much in price I cant even say. There are 3 machines in cali for $5500. There is a non runner on ebay buy it now for $650. I bought the 1200 for $50. I have also traded a honda 200s atc worth roughly $500 for a been parked a while with no motor scrambler 1000 and a mobilera trail blazer. I have seen them nearing $2000 for a good runner. Of coarse I am not sure what they got out of them and just because someone posted one for $2000 doesnt mean that is what its worth. There are deals and there are people trying to get rich. The how much are they worth question is a difficult question to answer. It all depends on how bad you want it. Scramblers are cool machines but there drives are the down fall. The set up themselves and the no reverse thing. Good machine to have fun in though.
