  • Need help identifying 6x6

My mother-in-law lives 900 miles away in WS, she has this 6x6 that she said I can have if I can haul away. I know it doesn't run as it's been sitting for 5+ years in the field.

I think it's an amphicat but can't tell if it would be worth it to tow it home next time we drive up that way. or if it would be worth a special trip just to pick it up.

    Any suggestions?

I believe it IS an Amphicat. If you don't want to take it, you could pretty much sell it from where it sits.
It's all just nuts and bolts.

It is an amphicat for sure. the value depnds completely on the lower tub. These machines are made of abs plastic, and they cracked quite easily. Abs is not real easy to repair. They originally had balloon tires, this one looks like its been converted to modern rims & tires. If tyey're in good shape the value is a little higher too. Her's has the engine cover, which are usually gone. Im doing a rebuild on one right now & i bought a complete onewith 5 good balloon tires with a cracked lower body for parts for $150.00 which was a good deal.If the body and tires are good rebuild it, you'll have a blast. If the body is junk I would suggest selling it for parts maybe 2 or 3 hundred dollars. just my opinion of course.
