Info. on worm gear on a coot????

As you know I just bought a coot tuesday and already have questions. Don't know much about worm gear but when I push it forward it will roll but wont roll backwards. It seems to lockup? This may be normal because I pulled the driveshaft and both front and rear do it? It also locks up when pushing it forward when you turn the wheel left or right. Is this because of the positive traction full time Differential? Now in the center where it articulates it has 2 bolts through it.It looks like it wont twist.Haven't tried to twist it yet ,any help Thanks

Ok, took the bolt out and it works fine. Now need parts if anyone has some!!
