I have a 70's model scrambler with a 16h.p.tecumsche engine. The problem I am having is when I turn right especially at slow speed, are taking off the engine slows down are boggs down and I don't have power to skid steer. My right side wheels are locking down as they should when I turn to the right but its almost like I've put the brakes on while giving it gas.The left side seems to be working fine and when going at higher speed the right side turns fine except when I turn hard right and it slows down.Is it possibly the tire pressure maybe to low in some of my tires causing it to be harder to drag the wheels when skid steering.I have done the measuring the tires for how big around they are like the manual says but trying to get them all the same means some of my tires have hardly any air in them and some are pumped up hard.I raised it off the ground as accordin to the manuel when I did this.Any help would be apreciated. thanks

That could be a possibility. Swap your tires from one side to the other. Even though the tread will be reversed it would tell you if that was the problem. Or instead of having to do that you could just air up the right side tires to something like 5PSI each and see if that makes a difference. Dont run it that way for good, just do that to give you less resistance during your testing. Finally, try airing up the middle tire a pound or two more than the front and rear tires so that the machine can pivot on that middle tire better. See if any of those make a difference and at least that may help narrow it down.
