Picking Up A Camel Centipede In A Few Days Anybody Have Info On These?

  • #2
I know that these machines were built in Knoxville, TN and they came with the bullet proof T-20 transmission. These are pretty cool machines, but I have never saw one in person. There is a lot more information on these machines on the brochures section of the forum. Just follow this link:

Geno, there is a pretty big group of us up in the Buffalo, NY area and we have rides near Olean, NY (which is right on the NY/PA border). Maybe you could join us sometime. Good luck on the Scrambler restoration by the way. I cant wait to see the pics of your rigs!

how is it going on the Camel? I have one that I have been working on, off and on for about a year (mostly gathering parts and body repair)

Thats cool, I did not know anybody else had one. This is my first 6x6, the body on mine is fairly rough have been working on repairs. How do you expect the 13 hp engine to perform? It would be cool if you could post some pics. I have a 17 hp Kohler for mine, but I was told that since it was opposed cylinder that there may not be room for it.
