Are you a user on here?
I have some questions about your Gotcha.

"Those that dared, like PA’s Dave Smith, put 440cc snowmobile engines in the little Gotcha four-wheelers, the result was a nimble little rocket ship"

So that's what that strut in front of the rear wheel is. Still can't see the shock though. MAN that must be a blast to drive

I think Dave's username is Country Bumpkin I believe.....he's on here every now and then but not all that much. He's a really nice guy and he sure knows his stuff about these machines.

It is a cool machine. For those who dont know, it has leaf springs running across from wheel to wheel running on top of the axles. The axles have universal joints in them. The body was cut for the suspension travel and is no longer water proof. Pretty cool setup though. I was lucky enough to see it and talk to him about it at Ashtubula.

Wow, I didn't even notice and I took a photo of it when I was there. Cool little springer.

                Hi curbdog17,

Sorry it took me so long to get these pics up. I had to get the machine out the other day to check my fence line so I got some pics of it. The frame is a narrowed down Attex with 1" solid axels, tapered bushings sprockets and idler sprocket tenioners. I took out the 400 cc polarus 2-stroke and put in a 16 hp vangaurd with electric start. It runs really well and I'm very pleased with it's performance. All bearings are greasable and there are no shocks needed with the leaf spring suspension for normal trail riding.

Didn't get to see it that closely last year. It's a cool little guy.
