Hey Mark, I just came across this old thread and figured I'd ask about the updates on the Starcraft. Plus I owe you a beer from the last Humphrey ride in the Fall we were at. I'm from the Buffalo area too, so if you want to join up with everyone in the area sometime for a ride, let me know. I'd love to see that Terra Tiger in action again. That is one cool machine!

Jeff, the only thing I have done to date is rebuild the T-20. I really want to move forward on the rest but have other projects to finish first.

We should get together for a winter ride. As shown in one picture I used to ride a fair amount in the cold. They slide easier

Status update of the Starcraft project? How about some pictures. It has to look better now than before.

Sorry Lance I wish I could say I'm well under way with the restoration but thats not the case at this time. I am however still inspired about the project and am eager to start as soon as I get some other projects done that I have procrastinated on for too long now.

I will post some pictures as soon as I begin.

hey guys i just purchased my 2nd starcraft,not shure but itle probly get a oh 160 tech engine also,i have a couple on the shelf,the t20 is there as well as the chains,jl moter is gone[no big loss]i just replaced the moter in the 1st one freshly rebuilt runs good now,think i will go out with the son in law see how she stacks up against the chapperal

i was at one the houses i wired a couple years ago and i must have drove past it all yr or it had a tarp over it that blew off to expose the color ,anyway i slammed on the brakes and did a uwey vlad about crapped his pants,the man cant ride in the truck without nodding off,he is like :whats up ,and my responce was starcraft,,,,, i just saw anouther starcraft,,,,,,sure enough ,,nobody was home so i went back after work and the owner was home and we made the deal i will p/u friday after work cant wait

I remember when I was little seeing that Starcraft and a wedge in a paint room, and seeing the Starcraft at Haspin once.

yes the starcraft had the 440 engine then,i had dave yoder with me and he had a scrambler,starcraft has a 4 stroke now and fresh rebuild,i will post photos whene i pick up the latest one

sorry at haspin it had the oh 160 moter,i had a sprocket that wouldnt stay put,fixed that with a custom made 2 pc collar,today i pick up the 2nd starcraft this afternoon
