I just bought my first 6x6. 1970 Terra Tiger, only took about three hours to get it running. It is in great shape with original tires.
My issue is when I start moving the belt gets so tight it kills the engine. Clutch on the engine opens but still tight. I am guessing the larger clutch should be closed at start up and open as I go. Do I just need a longer belt? How much slack should there be? Can anyone tell me what the numbers on the belt mean? Any help would be great.
