  • Two Chaparrals join my fleet

OK, This past Saturday I met Kurt (Rolling_x_6) and picked up two Project Chaparrals and two parts trannies. I will post pictures maybe tomorrow, as it's not great weather right now. I also checked out his Max IV which he's selling. It's a shame, he's done a lot to it and it's a very nice machine.
Hopefully I'll start going over, tearing down, and starting bodywork late spring/early summer. We'll see, I just want to end up with one good example, as I REALLY like how the chaparrals look.

OK, here are the two that I brought home. No engines were included, but I have a *couple* extras. Came with a parts T-20 and a rusty T-20. Not sure how close I am to a complete good T-20, after I soak the rusty one and see what does and does not clean up, I'll have a better idea. There's some work here for sure, but I think I can get a good machine out of the two. Time to make some white ABS goo

(Sorry about the tent, it got shredded by a windstorm. Hope to have a new one up over these guys in a week or so.)

          John--

So, how goes the work on your new project??? Nice pictures . . . they sure are photogenic machines.

Have you made any headway with either the rebuild of the T-20's or with the Chaparrels, themselves???

Keep us up-to-date on your projects. We wish you well. I am eager to see the end product.

          Later.
