Yes, I know its spring but I want to get ready for winter. I have a Hoot 6x6 and want to mount a plow. i'm looking at the light duty ones designed for atv's as the hoot isnt much bigger than a reg 4 wheeler. Anybody had any experience mounting a atv plow on these fiberglass bodies? Any input or fab work is much appreciated.

I had a chance to drive a hoot a few times but unfortunately I never really checked out the axles/frame and bearings. Would you be able to mount a piece of 1/4" or thicker flat stock between the outer axle bearings and the body? If so and you can mount a piece from the front and middle axles it would give you a spot to make a bracket in front of the front bearings to mount a plow. If not then if they have a frame, you can run some support from the frame to the body on the inside and mount the mounts on the outside with the body sandwitched between the support and the plow mount. Just a few ideas I guess. Keep us informed and maybe take a few pictures of what you come up with.
