Jiger - what to use?

Do you want to try to find the original parts, or do you just want to get it moving? Jigers had a pretty unique steering setup, so finding all of the original parts may be hard to come by. Retrofitting it to an entire new steering arrangement would be a bit challenging, as well. I'm not sure which would be more difficult....
You can always post a wanted ad in the classified section to see if someone has some of the parts you need. Take some pictures and post them so we can see what exactly you're missing, and what the possibilities for repower and a new steering mechanism are.sigpic

I dont know anything about the jigger. Never had one and never considered searching one out. If you want a cheap toy, good luck. New tires will cost minimum $35ea, chain $100+, rims $10.60 and then you still need an engine and transmision. My suggestion would be to search out a t-20 machine with a good tranny, engine, tires, but a body that has been beat to sh!+ and try to get it for a couple houndred bucks. The more usable parts the better off you will be. Too nice a machine and you'll be better of just building it, and a thrashed body cn make for a great negotiating tools. Btw measure to see if the frame and t-20 will fit before purchase.l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!
