  • Help with Identification... A Skip with wheels?

Hello to all you fellow 6x6 owners.

I am new to this forum, and the reason I have found you is that I own a 6x6...

The problem is, I have no idea what it is!

    argo.jpg

It is made of metal, has a Citroen "A" Series 2cv Engine.

I acquired this about 7 months ago, it did start and drive, so I parked it in the garage for a rainy day... that day was yesterday - where it would not start. I think the fuel pump has stopped working as I am not getting any fuel to the carb...

I originally thought it was home made. However on further investigation there is a "VIN" with build number, chassis number, engine number etc... but it is so badly worn I cannot read it... I think it says model "Firefly" but I maybe wrong?

From these pictures, and information can anybody help me identify what it is so I can do some research, find out if I can get some manuals etc etc...

    Thanks for your time

Wow, that's certainly bizarre.... my first guess would be a Poncin that's been manipulated a bit this way and that.

I think hydromike is right. If you will look in the brochure section of the site, click on Poncin ATV Look at the very last brochure page there and at the bottom, there is a 2D outline of the six wheeler that matches the 2D outline of the eight wheeler that is on your VIN plate.
