  • Alsport Tracker

Hello ! I am new to 6x6 world.com and found a lot of good information on this site. Over the years I have restored a few AATV's including 2 sierra trail bosses, a terra tiger, and a scrambler.

Currently I am restoring 2 alsport trackers. I do have a homepage if you would like to see my past projects and my current ones. I am still working on the site and putting information on as I get time.

Drop me a line if you have any questions I may be able to help with or if you have or anything to offer. Im always looking for tracker parts too.. Thanks ! Chad

Glad to have another Alsport owner on board. I have a GT15 in the corner of the basement awaiting inspiration and restoration. I just parted with my 210 model to another member of this board.
My plans for the GT-15 are a mechanical restoration ,re-paint and a 18HP Briggs 4-stroke. It's not going to be a show winner, but I want it reliable enough for winter use. There are some pictures of it floating around cyberspace and probably this site also.

Hey C86Tail, great website you have there! I remember there were two Alsport Trackers in a junkyard near my house that were in decent condtion about 8 years ago. I went back a couple weeks later and someone bought them. I'm glad that they were at least able to go home with someone instead of being destroyed. If I ever come across any, I will send you a message.

          Alsport Tracker

Thanks JP.. the site is a work in progress ! Im adding some pictures of my previous 6x6 projects. Ive always been a 6 wheeler fan and always reserected some old thing I found, into something good. Enjoy working on them and them taking them out for rides.

Sure is neat to see the heads turn when your out and about. A few years ago I was out ice fishing with my scrambler. I got pulled over by the DNR and thought I was in big trouble. Here to find out they just wanted to take a look and then a ride ! Thanked my for my time and the ride and left me on my way.

I got into the trackers and finially had a chance to take them out this winter and decided to keep working on them till they are finished.

Enjoy being a part of this group and thanks for the compliment.

              nice alsport

Wow i was surprised how fast it would go. I like the green and white scrambler to. Was the sticks original in the scrambler. I am starting a day after christmas with a scrambler restoration for my 8 year old. I have a new 13 horse powermax engine for it. The previous owner did a head on with a tree. My friend says i should get rid of it because he says it will never hold up without a frame. I told him its lasted this long GREAT JOB WITH YOUR RESTORATIONS

Nice work...those trackers look cool! As far as I can tell, you are the nearest member (geographically) to myself. I am in Brookfield and currently restoring some Terra Tigers myself. Did you source your parts needs locally?

Nice stuff there!!! Those alsports trackers are pretty cool machines. Looks like your really cleaner her all up.

The tiger has mobilera trailblazer tires/wheels! That scrambler is nice a one!! I think I have seen it on the web before and think I stored some photos of it on my computer. Did you block the original headlights holes?

The scrambler is a nice machine.. The green one on my web site was really in bad shape when I bought it.. True it does not have a steel frame (except the drive train area) but it holds up well to rough driving.. The little 3 bolt wheel hubs are another story :0 The only downside was no reverse, I made one from a boat motor starter and ring gear.. you couldnt drive long like that but it worked good to get off the trailer or out of the garage.

Its nice being fiberglass like the tracker cause you can repair it pretty easy and its easy to paint using automotive or topside paints.. That scrambler had the sticks for steering but most others I have seen had the steering wheel.. Its not a fast machine but does have quite a bit of power for such a small engine because of the gearing.. Most of the parts needed were either made or found online somewhere.. In wisconsin we didnt need to register it to use it for ice fishing and that was its main purpose before selling it.

The tracker really is a fun machine to drive.. Its not a true 6x6 but does fall into the AATV market and was sold as such. I never tried it in the water yet .. Thanks for the kind words guys and drop me a line anytime.. Chad
