Easy aluminum skid plate

I went to the armada flea market a month ago.An older man had tons of stuff including road signs.Well the big yellow sign with a black arrow seen everywhere was what I bought.He wanted $10 but he took $5!The man even acknowledged that it's probably worth more in scrap.The sign has the perfect width and the length goes half way down the scrambler!This covers my bent and broken original plastic skid plate and I was able to even use the original rivet holes ?I just bored the holes bigger and used bolts.Let me say that the aluminum sign is very strong and It was a bugger just to get the thing to do the soft bend of the scrambler underbody but it looks great and I know I will get pictures eventually.This is a jfyi for fellow 6x6's to keep an eye out for something that can help you out.

Yes-I remember seeing some electric trolling motors for $15 a piece.I should have got them-they were gone by the time I walked through the area.Sure are a lot of neat things but their is always the few sellers with the over priced $100 flower pots also.
