  • Has anyone seen one of these?

It is called a Ter-O-Sno Amphibious three wheeler. I was hoping someone has some info and parts for it. This is using a Minerelli Motori motorcycle engine and has a pto out the back for a prop. Thanks Paul

It looks somewhat similar to a Beaver: Beaver Three Wheeler

You're right, Mike, that sure does look like the Beaver. I believe the Beaver used an odd ball engine and to make it go in reverse, if my memory is correct, you would shut it off and fire it back up so the engine would run backwards. Meaning that the crankshaft would normally spin counter clock wise, but to achieve reverse, the crankshaft would spin clockwise.

I like the auxiliary PTO shaft in the back for the propeller on your machine. I bet that thing really moves in the water!

It does look similar to the Beaver/Penguin, but there are several differences, too. It appears to be in really incredible shape and seems like an outstanding candidate for a full restoration project. Heck, even those 1-piece wheels/tires seem to be in really nice shape! Obviously it's been carefuly stored when not in use. It certainly looks a lot better than several of the "sitting so long it's grown right into the fence row" and "mystery lump under a tarp in the back of the barn" type machines that many members here have taken on to rebuild/restore. Please keep us updated on this project. It will surely be an interesting journey for that little buggy from "moldy old" to "rolling gold"

Glad you decided to join up! I think you'll find more help here than 3 wheeler world on this one. Is there a manufacturer's tag on it somewhere that maybe has where and when it was made?
