  • CURB ALERT... Terra Tiger in WNY...

I've driven past this rig for several months, while it was jammed in the guy's back yard between a couple willow trees. I didn't think much of it, now I know why. He finally towed it out to the curb.

I really didn't give it a thorough going over, but it's fiberglass, so if they can fix Corvettes, they can fix 'Tigers. Most of the mechanicals are missing (thank goodness), so this is a great start for someone with a T-20 and a lot of time.

Bunker Hill Road, Gasport, NY... somebody pick it up before a snowplow hits it.

Hmmm... the thumbnails aren't showing up... they're in my gallery if they don't pop up soon...

Might make a nice trailer for someone if the bottom tub is in any kind of shape?

Mike, mine didn't look much better than that when I obtained it. All I got was a cracked up tub with 4 inches of mud and leaves in the bottom, some rusted transmission shafts and a dream of riding it some day. Can be done with enough preserverance

            Jeff needs a Terra Tiger.

Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

            (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

Don, I don't know if I need a Terra Tiger.......then again, maybe I do, haha. Here's the story, I shot up to go and get it, and thought I knew the way, but I couldn't find the road because I didn't bring Mapquest directions. I made a call to Hey_Dan78 and he went on Google and helped me locate the destination. I loaded it on the trailer and then I noticed that I popped a bead on the right side tire of my trailer as I was driving away. CRAP!!! I headed down to NAPA, picked up some Slime sealant and some Fix-a-Flat. Luckily the bead seated and the tire inflated. I just got the machine home safely and will be taking some pictures tomorrow morning. It even has 2 or 3 good Firestone balloon tires that say "Terra-Tiger" molded on the sidewalls. Thanks for the hot tip on finding this one, Mike!

So, Hydromike is cruising the back roads in search of vintage plastic again, eh? Or should I say cruising the back roads still?

Hey, I've passed it for months. It's just now that it's made the trip out to no-man's land. I keep my eyes open, no question about that. Each day I passed, I was waiting to see SOME progress, or even interest in the machine. I should have realized nothing was to become of it when a family of raccoons made the lower tub into their home...

Did some one get that already?

I would seriously pick that up if it wasn't gone before I get there. If some one picks it up and doesn't want it I will though them a few bucks for there trouble.

Mike, the house where it was at looked really worn down, and pretty much abandoned. I cant believe I popped a bead on my trailer when I was backing up to load it. I think I hit a rut in the lawn that was hard and frozen. Luckily that Slime and Fix-a-Flat got the bead back on and sealed it.

And by the way, I was parked at a gas station making sure I didnt have any DOT nightmares with loose tie down straps or parts flying out the back of it and this guy stopped me and asked if that was my machine. I replied, sure is, I collect these things. He told me about a guy that has an ATV/ dirtbike junkyard that had 3 more 6 wheelers in it. Time to go grab those next! I guess If I didn't pop the bead on the tire I never would have ran into the guy at the gas station, and if you never posted up about this Terra Tiger I never would have been out there. I owe you a beer!
