it will be a couple weeks before i get back to this project, my D8k cat caught on fire the other day and i'm a little busy with repairs to all the hydrolic lines , seals and wiring that don't do well in the heat , i'll get back to it as soon as i can

well i'm back to this thred, the Cat repairs went well but cost a whole lot more than i was expecting (but isn't that the way it usually goes) and it needed some stuff that i wasn't expecting like a cracked torque converter housing and cracked bell housing, but i guess it is better to catch those now then have it come apart later and cause some real damage, it was suprising how expensive Cat parts are ,one hydrolic line 6" around and about 5 ft long was $1800.00 for a new one, ouch.--- note to self ; carry more fire extinguishers
i'll get some pics up of the progress on the Tracker tonight

Wow, that looks fantastic! Glad you got your dozer fixed too, fire extinguishers are one of those things worth having for the one unexpected time you need them...

What are your plans for an engine to go in it?

i'll just be putting an 18hp briggs 4 stroke for now to see what kind of power i'll need, and then go from there

                    putting things back together

                    remounting the track brakes

                    sandblasting some of the suspension

the top is back on and engine in, here is figuring out the tail pipe

Robinhood, cool job you are doing. I have been following your post. I have two GT-15 and one 210 that I have messing with. hope to get them running good for next winter. will bring to some of the vintage runs. have tires for all and will try them this summer. I think they will do better in the snow.

well i got a bit more done
here i mounted the Lexan windshield and i put some foam trim on it for appearence then i used alluminum pop rivits to mount it, the bend was carefully heated and wrapped around the corner

                            here is an overall view

adding some black dual pinstriping to clean up the edge of the black paint and finish the paint job, as-well-as down the side of the body
