Thanks guys... Found some tracks $400 not a bad snag at all. Need to shorten them a bit will post pics later this week. Unfortunately fenders will most likely have to be removed. That's ok I think some nice diamond plate fenders are in store...next on the list of parts needed is a good 3000-3500lb winch. What do u guys reccomend or have for sale? Any winches known to be junk or to stay away from?

What are you guys with rubber tracks running for track tension? I got tracks on last night and goingup hill with a few inches of snow the tires started spinning in the track. I may have to go one more light shorter on track or possibly run less air pressure. Im afraid to go shorter and have them not go on.

11PSI is too high of pressure to be running those Rawhide tires at. You should do 5PSI max. You might be able to cut some of the track section out and re-fasten it together."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

Perfect! Just don't take too much off......remember, it's easier to take a little off at a time, trying to go back and put more track sections back on."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

I picked up a manual for my MAX IV tracks last time I was at Recreatives. It says 3-5 psi for 21" rawhides, 8-10psi for 21" carlisle at101. And proper tension is when machine is lifted off ground you have approximately one inch sag below the bottom of the center tire and track.-----\

Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level, then beat you to death with stupidity!

what a PITA that was! I ended up cutting the track 2 more times. It was tight getting them on but we finally got it. With no air pressure in the tires suspended we had about 1" hanging. 3-4 psi in the tires and she is nice and snug now, and boy what a difference in the snow! Its rediculous how much more traction there is! This thing is a tank! Only prob now is the beads on the tires like to leak now from such low pressure. Hopefully some green slime will do the trick. If not bead locks may be in store. A couple pics to follow
