    Hoot is Back!

All of the spare parts etc had been bought by a buddy down in Gulf coast of Mississippi from the bank who took possession of everything when Knox Outdoor Products went belly-up. He has sold eveything to Growler Motorsports, Inc. of Robbins, NC. They now have a website up that reads the same as the original Hoot website. Best change I can see is that they upgraded the engine from the 15hp Kohler single to the Kohler 18hp twin. MSRP is $8995. I hope they can provide support to us previous owners. Good Luck to them!

    Here's the website: Hoot ATV

Also if anyone is interested I know where there are 2 of the originals. He's looking to sell at a good discount from the full price, just send me a msg.

    Lets go Hooten!

That's cool news. I got a chance to drive one around a little at a 4x4 truck mud pit and it was pretty neat. Sitting up on the machine give a better view of whats up near you. Hopefully Growler Motorsports Inc can stay afloat.

It looks like it has the 18hp Briggs vanguard not a kohler.

    Thanks for the good news!

If the MSRP for the Hoot is $8995 this sounds a whole lot more reasonable than the previous high price that they were priced at before. Ray Kolis told me that an 18 hp motor in a Hoot and 24" inch Frontier tires would be awesome. Great power to weight ratio.

The Hoot is not an old machine. The original owner went out of busines last year.
