does anyone know if the terra jet will float like the max and the argo does?

Also does it run on chains and sprockets like our other machines do?

Assuming the sheet metal tub doesn't have holes (like my 1970 does) it's amphibious - there are some youtube videos showing it go across ponds. It's like a snowmobile as far as cltuch/belt system. The secondary clutch is connected to a transmission, which drives the front and rear sprockets.

Looks like the fiber glass Terra Jet's swim a lot faster in the water.

I have a reb it looks like the 453 terra jet in the first video and it is faster in water than my max iv with the 26" terra tires. Reb has the same tires as the max.

If you have a Reb that swims faster than a Max IV with Terra tires on it , then it must be really fast in the water.

Yes sir,my max iv runs off and leaves my argos pretty bad in the water but reb is faster. Also to answer the third post,reb runs drive shafts and diffs,no chains. I think terra jet is the same,if not some one will straiten us out.

I don't believe the REB is still being sold but I think the Terra-Jet is.

No,reb was only made in 87-88. Terra jet is sill being made.
