Wasn't there some guy who actully built one of these with a vertical shaft engine and a Dixon trans? I believe tried to sell the plans (that weren't his to begin with) too and got banned for making another account and trying to solicit business... I believe it was yellow and he made it resemble a Hummer...

I'm not sure if the plans were his or what tranny he used but the rest sounds right. You left out the fact that he never floated it before attempting to sell the plans.
