  • Embedded videos don't always work on iPad

I can see the video buffer page on embedded video on my iPad. When I try to watch I can hear the sound but not the video. If I watch video direct on YouTube it plays fine. Anyone have any ideas?

    Same with the iTouch.

I've heard it has something to do with the "My way or the highway" approach that Apple has been known to take with many software companies and website platforms but I don't understand too much about those things.

Nothing I've posted on Vimeo works and only have of what I put on Youtube works.

It may be a Safari mobile - YouTube thing. I tried another browser (Atomic Browser)and the videos play fine. Maybe Mike will chime in. I think he may be a Mac guy too

Weird. Now they are working in Safari...must have scared the Bugs away.

I don't know what's going on with the embedded videos. They are parsing on the site with the correct iframe youtube code to display properly on iOS devices but they seem to only work intermittently. I will look into this further.

I just click the YouTube icon and watch them there.
