Don't let the Tecumseh engine scare you off, it runs like a champ! I was going to get a harbor freight engine as a replacement but this thing will run circles around that.
As the title reads, I have an orange over Black body Argo 16T, 16hp Tecumseh, Electric start, runs great, no smoke, 2nd owner, Floats, all interior plastic floors. Exhaust is nice and quiet. It has numbers so you could call argo and get a year if you wished, I would suspect early to mid 1980s just looking at photos of the grill slats. I'm only the second owner, an old guy owned it and duck hunted a few times a year (and never cleaned it) previously. He had had it maintained by the dealer.
I rebuilt everything and added new tires Dec 2015
new tan seat with backrest "roll bar", new LED Headlights, New Tires, New bilge pump, New harbor freight winch with Blue synthetic rope, drive chains look good, idles good, plenty of power, good battery, extra 17hp engine as spare. one tire has a slow leak but it is just a rim issue. 7th spare tire and rim included.
Needs a throttle cable. I have universal one! might need a return spring on the twist throttle? I can/will fix this stuff as time allows in the coming weeks. Rims need a paint job to look pretty.
No scams just face to face cash! I'm saving up for a vacation, but I'm not in a hurry to sell, so this is about what I have invested and what I will hold out for. As you know six tires alone cost a fortune not to mention the bilge pump, winch and other new parts. I could ask for four grand and let you beat me up but I have put an honest price on it that is a good deal for both of us instead. fone nomber is at the bottom, call me.
If it is unsold by March I will paint the rims white and put it on ebay for the wolves. I would prefer to sell it within the forum to those that appreciate 6x6 for what they are.
