This is a fixer upper and you need to be able to work on it yourself. Due to a house fire smoke got into the garage and the machine is covered in a soot film. A good power washing would go a long way, but would probably need some hand scrubbing too.
The Good: solid tub, winch, good seats, 30 or 40 hours on chains/bearings, 26" tires, it will run and drive.
The Bad: filthy! needs a battery, solid axles but the holes are wallered. I do have new splined axles but not splined sprockets.
The motor is a 16hp briggs opposed twin that actually propels it pretty well but has a lot of vibration. This has broken the motor mount several times and the last few rides it was on the motor has been held down with a ratchet strap(actually worked out well). I have a new predator 22hp twin and new motor mount for it but I suspect the vibration is coming from the primary clutch and will need to be changed too. I also have a windshield that is not mounted.
Price is negotiable depending on how many parts you want with it. I'd like to see it go to someone just starting out, but don't want to mess with shipping. In person we can discuss what all you will need. Currently located in Charlotte Mi, but could be taken to Houghton Lake on most weekends.
Update: 1-20-18, I've cleaned the soot off the body, Tried a bunch of different cleaners, but gasoline on a clean rag worked best. It's not perfect, but at least it is clean to the touch. I threw in a battery and fresh gas to get it running. If you choose to keep the 16hp motor, it will need a throttle cable. This one works but leaves a lot to be desired. The machine now is located at Houghton Lake MI.
As for price: $2000 with the extra parts or $2500 w/parts and new motor.
