  • Surely this price is not right.

Fine looking machine but not $75,000 worth.

I'd guarantee that price is correctly posted, posted.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

He says to check his other listing, but only one shows, maybe he sold the other one. Nice rig, just a bit outside of my weekend spending money wallet. Have to wonder if that price includes the HD trailer that would be required to haul that rig. That Kubota Turbo Diesel is a good one.

That machine must have capabilities far beyond the typical 6x6 or 8x8 on this site, for that price. I suppose it's marketed to utility companies and such to enable heavy duty work on pipelines and such that pass through swamps and other hard to reach places.

you're exactly right, it's a piece of industrial equipment. Built way tougher than our rigs.

Not your everyday 6x6 or 8x8. Basically hand made in Tennessee, according to web page production is up to 2 per week, and prices range from $65,000 to $150,000 depending upon configurations. Hydratrek | Amphibious Vehicles Be sure to watch the "Moment of Freedom" video at the bottom of the home page to watch an 8 year old driving one of these unique machines. And, 6XWorld is listed as one of their partners!

Shucks, Jim. The manufacturer is only a couple of hours away from me. I think I'll just grab my pocket change and run get one!

A friend of mine was doing research for an oil company in Louisiana and his company rented a Hydratrek for the two weeks he was there. He said that after hours they'd go play in the beast and it was very capable. The only machine he'd ridden in before was a Superchief and he doesn't think the rental was quite as fast.
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.
