Bead Lock Rings

The outer tire bead is Sandwiched between the outer lip of the rim and the new outer ring. You need 2 as 1 is welded to the rim and 1 bolted to it from the outside.

what keeps the bead on the inside of wheel from separating? do you only need to do outside?

I just got a quote back and the price for the non-scalloped is still 16.61 each. I also got a quote for two sets and the price dropped significantly. That price is 12.62 each. Like I said, the more I can order the lower the price gets. These prices are good for the next 30 days. Let me know.
FYI when I say a set I mean 12 pieces.Last edited by smudvapor; 01-23-2017, 06:56 PM.

Bead lock rings
I just sent in a request for a quote for some more bead lock rings if anyone is interested. I don’t know what the latest price will be but I can tell you that in July 2016 I was quoted:
Scalloped $17.08 each
Non-Scalloped $16.61
These are for 8” wheels
Depending on price I plan to get a set or two for myself.
When I get the new quote I will let all of you know. For now I just want to get an idea if anyone else is interested. The more I order the more the prices drop. After I get the quote I will give it a week or two before I put my order in. Let me know.

They are drilled and you put a bolt through with a nut on the back.Originally posted by wedge View PostIs the inside ring drilled to be Tapped or do you need to put nut behind it for the bolts ?
I have two sets of wheels at the shop in 8" and some 9" also.
I am thinking of two sets for the 8" wheels. but would want the Scalloped. Hope some others jump on board as well. We recondition wheels here at ReWheel so if others wanted there wheels upgraded I can do that for them here.
Maybe that way we can get more orders for them ?

They are fairly expensive unless I have a bunch made. Last year I had about 10 sets made and the price was good. I can have one set made but I would have to get a quote. The turn around time is about two weeks.

Yes Scalloped is the one that is milled out between the bolts. Thy are a little liter but still as strong.
If your doing both inner and outer on an 8 wheeler you would need 16 sets. Two per wheel.
Still waiting to hear back on these also ?

Hi Smuddy Mudder, Pike here from Toronto Canada, Have you ordered any of these yet, I am very interested I have 2012 750 HDi. I would like to bead lock the inside and outside, what is your experience with that? Does that does mean I need 8 or 16 sets? What does scalloped mean, is the curving between the holes?

bead lock rings
Hi Plott, Go back to the last page. Liflod gives a site with a video of a ring being welded to a rim ,a tire being mounted but left outside of the welded ring and the second ring being bolted to the welded ring with the tire squeezed in between. Wow, looks foolproof.Originally posted by plott hound View Postis there a how to on making the bead locks?i have no idea how they work.

Honestly? If you're cool with 8" rims, get a set of six of these and get some beadlock rings from Scott and make them yourself.
8X7 5-Lug on 4.5" Silver Bell Trailer Wheel
I can get a set of 6 shipped (Buffalo) for $96.
