        Hey Dave, if you get it as close as race did you can just heat and reform the engine cover to fit. Put a piece if 5/8 plywood the same shape as the air cleaner lid on top of the air cleaner, close the engine cover, heat it up above the wood with a heat gun,to push down on the engine cover to get it shaped. I used some weight to hold it until it cooled. Way better than hacking apart the engine cover.

          Thanks Joe! I really don't want to cut up this cover so I may try it on an older one and see if I can manage it without totally destroying the darn thing!!

            The unistrut will hold up just fine to 20+hp. One of the attexs has a harbor freight 22hp and no issues.
