We are still being hit here right now....Winds gusting up to 70-100km/h with blowing snow. Opened my door to let the dog out this morning and and the dog turned and went back to bed. I had to get dresses and shovel snow awy from my door and step so the dog could get out. Worse part is all the wind.
On the bright side there is nothing wrong with sitting in with a nice warm wood fire and a hot cup of coffee....
Will venture out later this afternoon.....

Only goes to prove how smart your dog is he stays inside in bed while you shovel.LOL
NCT...went outside after lunch with my 3 boys shoveling and spent the afternoon at it. Worse part is it is still snowing here...I have a snow drift about 5 feet high in my walkway and 3 feet of snow in my driveway...Will have to do more shoveling tomorrow.

I hope you have a generator.
You seem to have had some real winters out east the past few years....when it snows it really snows.
If you are prepared its not so bad......hang in there and enjoy it....at least its not an ice storm.
We all love to see video of your winter wonderland and aatv.
Starting to dig out here. Now it is starting to rain making the snow very heavy to move around. I have been living back in Newfoundland for the past 4 years and this is the worse storm I have seen here since then. I can remember growing up as a kid and having some wicked storms. Went from having no snow in my yard 2 days ago to having several feet there now. There is a snow bank across the raod that is about 20 feet high where the plow had to push it up. Lost power for 15 hours and just got it back this morning....Thank god for wood stoves...nice heat. Just in to enjoy a hot cup of tea and then back out at the snow clearing.....will try and post some pics later....
cheers
P.S. NCT, my dog is still smarter...staying in the house in the warm.......
