  • Long overdue revisit.

    Hi All;

    It's been quite some time since I've visited/posted to the site. And I did miss the time lost. Went through 2 back surgeries and was down for some time. Went through all the rehab therapy and was doing good only to recieve a stray bullet from a local shooting while picking up a prescription. Took it in the shoulder and had to start the whole rehab thing all over again. Plus the whole legal process and hearings just didn't afford any time for me to check in. All said and done, I'm back on track and the bas##rd. Got 25 years. I got sum bucks out of it, but all the medical/legal bills pretty much just left me with the thought that I am just glad to be alive. I was told after the (2nd) back surgery that I could probably get back into the T-boss, but it will be some time and I will have to take it R-E-A-L easy. That was fine, as I pretty much only use it for deer hunting. The down side is that I took the bullet in the right shoulder, which is my shooting side. So it looks like I won't be able to whitetail this year again. Still doing the rehab, and don't want to take any chances or rush things.
    It's all just nuts and bolts.

            I hope you have a quick and full recovery.

            As someone who is obviously comfortable with firearms, did the experience of getting hit from a stray bullet that sounds like a byproduct of a criminal activity impact how you feel about gun control?
