Seen some scary things on the autoban in Europe when I lived there. Done some scary things as well. Fastest I ever got a car to was 250km/h (155mph)....use to drive on the autoban an average of 180km/h. Seen some crazy accidents as well....

265kph converts to about 164mph. I have personally been to 158mph on a little cbr600 f4I. So im inclined to agree with twizted1, the audi should've been smoked.
