  • Snow in the Northeast

Looks like the folks that wanted snow to ride in will get their wish. It must be a major PITA to remove snow from the roads so folks can get around. I guess I'll stick with the mud!

Nothing wrong with a little snow on the roads. I got to plow my driveway this morning with my Max IV again, and now I am headed to Buffalo to see some forum members. Snow doesn't stop us up here. It just makes things more interesting.
l like to buy stuff and no I don't do payments!

I spent 7 months working up in Pennsylvania a few years back. I left for here a week before Thanksgiving, before it got really cold in other words. Everybody up there was really nice and I was amazed by the fact that everything we do for fun down here I was able to find up there with no trouble. They just made a few allowances for the different weather conditions. Interesting you should mention snow plowing Drew. Us down South guys had to discover the hard way that when a snow plow comes down the road it does not cut it's speed any because you are dumb enough to watch it go by from 10 feet away.

heck Junkman, I think it's cold everywhere in the US. It's supposed to get down to 26 degrees at my house tonight.

Zero degrees in buffalo right now..... Wind chill is putting it at -17 according to the weather channel. And I actually love it. Can always put more clothes on. In the summer when its super hot in other states you can only "legally" take so much clothes off. ;-)

There are some states/provinces where it should be mandatory for some people to put more clothes on....
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

Up here in the great white north we enjoy the snow.
I like running in it better than mud.
No need to clean it after playing....it eventually just melts away.

Very Valid statement. hahaha And like bazoo guy said. Snow just melts and leaves everything looking like you never even rode it.

Yep,that's why I think society is much more tolerant of snowmobiles as opposed to ATV's. That and the fact the majority are staying indoors in the colder temps. (Annoy less folks=experience less whining)

Crapola! Just saw on news that 11 people have died from the cold. Doesn't make the heat and humidity look so bad here now.

Just got our power back after 11 hours gone in minus 30C temps...Thanks to woods stoves for keeping the house nice and warm.....Now the fun part begins in cleaning up this 30 + cm ( approx 16 inches in total today) of snow.
